During a more recent visit to Egmond, NL. Almost impossible to get a crowd-free shot. (NL shoreline on a bright sunny day....wow...packed...)

Looks inviting... still a bit too cold. In a month or so I'll be spending a night or two in this area. It'll be much busier then. On this day, we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. (it was freezing, but very nice just the same)

Haven't been to this beach since I was a kid. Strange to see so many changes. Looked so much smaller than I remembered. I was much smaller too, so that could have something do with it. That, and the improvements. Our tax dollars at work I guess. Definitely a nice area for a walk. Off-season of course.

A peaceful spot during a chilly day...best time to be at the beach, off-season... there are always some people around, but there are more opportunities to be alone, enjoy the view...or share it with someone you care about, as I did.

Took a trip to the shoreline recently. Nice sunny day but rather chilly. Best time to be at the beach when it's like this. No crowds!
