A surprise spot I found once a couple years ago, and managed to find again recently. Not the most inviting drive to it, but worth it once there...

I love crashing waves. One of these days, I have to find a spot (with nearby parking, preferably) where the waves are really big.... ooh... that would be exciting!

Another hidden treasure. Actual parking (and free, amazing) and a view. Definitely a good idea to explore beyond the busy areas if you have the time. This is near Misquamicut, RI.

A much loved surprise... didn't expect to find such a nice spot (that wasn't completely packed) but sometimes things work out great! This is somewhere along the Rhode Island coastline.
